Landfills are bad for our health and the environment.
In 1988, the EPA stated all landfills will eventually
leak. That means that runoff from landfills, carrying with it toxic chemicals from our waste ends up in our water supplies. Many communities surrounding landfills have had their drinking water contaminated by leaking landfills.
The EPA also found landfills to be the third-largest source of human-related methane emissions in the United States. Methane is a greenhouse gas 86 times more potent than carbon dioxide according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, making it a powerful contributor to our climate crisis.

Here to Help Communities
Environmental issues have become a major subject in the last few decades, affecting science and technology throughout the world due to the serious environmental threats and impacts. The human race and the industrial revolution have been significantly polluting the planet for over 150 years. Now it's time to reverse these damaging practices and trends through the existing technologies of ReMining Corpation™ - the technologies now exist.
QCI has assembled some of the world's best Chemists and Engineers to work towards setting a new global standard in waste management. Alignments now provide ReMining Corporation™ with a comprehensive array of custom solutions to assist in the reduction of global pollution and the carbon footprint in all MSW, while significantly lowering their energy usage and reducing emissions.
“Technological advances are creating opportunities that drive sustainability solutions. Yet only 36 percent of respondents say their companies are mostly or fully integrating sustainability into their data and analytics work. Companies that want to capture increasing value in a resource-constrained world should spend more time thinking about how to integrate their technological capabilities into their overall sustainability agenda.
As sustainability becomes more central to the business, companies should align internally on what they stand for and what actions they want to take on these issues, whether it’s economic development or changing business practices. Whatever approach companies take, they should develop a strategy with no more than five clear, well-defined priorities—one of the key factors for successful sustainability programs.”

“Sustainability’s strategic worth: McKinsey Global Survey results,” 2014.
